Hoy, con algo de tiempo y tranquilidad, reacciono, y opino:

Con mayúsculas o minúsculas, Alberto es ALBERTO; cualquier diferencia, si la hubiera, está sólo en la mente del lector.

Yo podría haber disfrutado aprendiendo estas cosas cuando estaba en la escuela secundaria y el mundo era mayormente desconocido para mí. Sin embargo, habiendo vivido ininterrumpidamente por casi 75 años, he encontrado este discurso superficial, interesado e irrelevante.

Para una persona interesada en educar a otros acerca de conspiraciones paranoides, la ley, y la definición de palabras, este educador muy bien podría haber comenzado por aprender la definición de "multitud, chuzma" que él obviamente no aprendió.

Para otros que realmente tengan el interés por saber cómo realmente trabaja el mundo político real, sugiero gastar un poco mas de los 15 minutos de este tratado infra-elemental, y asistir ya sea a un curso en Filosofía Política e Historia de la Filosofía Política; o disponerse a estudiar por su cuenta pero de manera sostenida y consistente, el tema a través del pensamiento de al menos: Platón y Aristóteles sobre la experiencia de la polis;  Maquiavelo y Hobbes sobre el concepto de soberanía; Locke sobre gobierno constitucional; y Rousseau y Tocqueville sobre democracia.

Si estos pensadores despiertan su curiosidad, pueden continuar aprendiendo de eruditos modernos como John Rawls, Marx, Sartre, Hannah Arendt, Mises, Friedrich Hayek, Isaiah Berlin, Judith Shklar, and Amitai Etzioni.  Karl Popper será genial para esos con gran interés en la "democracia"; Jürgen Habermas para la democracia deliberativa; o Pierre J. Proudon para democracia directa.

Para una mente más radical, los pensamientos de Mao Zedong, Fidel Castro, Herbert Marcuse, Theodor W. Adorno, Max Horkheimer, y Michel Foucault podrían ser más de su gusto.

Tengo la suerte de tener un buen número de estas obras en mi colección y estaré encantado de prestarlas bajo una garantía de devolución.

Cualquier cosa más seria, prudente y global sería mejor que las telenovelas hechas por personas sin nada que hacer tratando de aparecer como filósofos perceptivos y profundos.

En realidad, este tipo que se presenta como Chris Barnone11970, está ocupado creando y vendiendo sus "Pirámides Energéticas de Orgón" que da paz, salud y felicidad. With capital or lower case letters, Alberto is the same as ALBERTO; if there is any difference, it is only in the eyes of the beholder.

I may have enjoyed learning these things when I was in high school, and the world was largely unknown to me. However, having lived uninterruptedly for almost 75 years, I found this lecture superficial, condescending and irrelevant.

For a person intended to educate others about paranoid conspiracies, law, and the definition of words, he could very well have started by learning the definition of "mob," which he obviously did not learn.

For others who really have the interest to know how the real social-political world really works, I suggest to spend a bit more than the 15 minutes of this infra-elemental discourse, and have either a course in Political Philosophy AND History of Political Philosophy; or, a sustained self-study of the same subject through the thinking of at least: Plato and Aristotle on the polis experiment;  Machiavelli and Hobbes on state sovereignty; Locke on constitutional government; and Rousseau and Tocqueville on democracy.

If these thinkers arouse their curiosity, they may further investigate more modern scholars such as John Rawls, Marx, Sartre, Hannah Arendt, Friedrich Hayek, Isaiah Berlin, and Judith Shklar.  Karl Popper will be great for those with great interest in "democracy"; Jurgen Habermas for deliberative democracy; or Pierre J. Proudon for direct democracy.

For a more radical mind, the thoughts of Mao Zedong, Fidel Castro, Herbert Marcuse, Theodor W. Adorno, Max Horkheimer, and Michel Foucault could be more palatable.

I am lucky to have quite a few of these works in my collection and will be happy to lend them under a guarantee of return.

Anything more serious, thoughtful and comprehensive would be better than soap operas made by people with nothing to do pretending to be insightful and profound philosophers.

Did I say "people with nothing to do pretending to be profound philosophers"? I was wrong, Actually this guy who presents himself as Chris Barnone11970, is busy creating and selling "Orgon Energy Pyramid" that gives you peace, health and happiness. The one shown here sells for US$ 195.00.  
I would like to see how many of you are willing to put your money where your endorsement and "Like" are.   Follow him up, he sells them at his website My Orgone Pyramids for sale. He spends there 31 minutes (double than the time spent revealing his "truth" on YouTube!!!)

Am I the one who have to wake up and enhance my conscience?

Desinformación: ¿QUIÉN ATACA A QUIEN?

¿Quién ataca a quien?

Un artículo recibido ayer con la "revelación" que el  "Príncipe Bandar, jefe de la Inteligencia de Arabia Saudí, entregó las armas químicas a mercenarios", se argumenta con una conclusión aparentemente anti-belicista, que "Estados Unidos y su presidente Barack Obama, se quedan sin excusa para atacar militarmente al pueblo sirio..."

 
...para continuar, ¡Increíblemente!, no sugiriendo tacticas no militares, sino que en su lugar se "debería castigar al gobierno saudí por la responsabilidad directa que tienen en estos crímenes."

El artículo, distorsionando el original de Mnar Muhawesh en MintPress, fue re-enviado, como es fácilmente predecible, de... "Tribuna Popular", el órgano de prensa del Comité Central del Partido Comunista de ¡Venezuela!

¿Dónde está nuestra capacidad de razonamiento crítico? ¿Qué transformación ha ocurrido en nuestro entendimiento para asfixiar nuestra empatía bajo presiones ideológicas?

Esta mañana, a las 09:05 horas, Reuters y organizaciones afiliadas reportan que un forense sirio desertor, ha presentado evidencias del ataque químico el pasado Marzo en Khan al-Assal.  La nota dice:

" Un desertor sirio--ahora en la oposición--tiene prueba sobre responsabilidad del ataque químico en Marzo.  Por Afanasieva Dasha. ESTAMBUL | Sep. 3, 2013

(Reuters) --Un experto en medicina forense Sirio tiene evidencia que la administración del Presidente Bashar Al-Assad ha usado armas químicas en un ataque cerca de Aleppo en Marzo.  El mencionado experto, Abdeltawwab Shahrour,  ha desertado y buscado asilo en Turquía, dijo un representante de la oposición al gobierno sirio.

Sarah Karkour, portavoz de la coalición opositora basada en Estambul, dijo que Abdeltawwab Shahrour, líder del comité de medicina forense en Aleppo, hará pública su evidencia sobre el ataque químico en Al-Assal del Kan el 19 de Marzo.

Según otro oficial opositor, Shahrour, tiene documentos probando que un ataque químico tuvo lugar, incluyendo testimonios presenciales, y el relato directo de testigos oculares de las autoridades policíacas que contradicen la versión de la administración Siria.

El ataque en Khan al-Assal en la provincia del norte de Aleppo mató más de dos docenas de personas. Ambos, el gobierno y los rebeldes, se han culpado el uno al otro por lo que reconocen como un ataque con armas químicas.





Rusia, que junto a Irán es la aliada más íntima de Siria y el mayor proveedor armamentista, declaró en Julio que su propio análisis científico indicó que el ataque había empleado el agente neurotóxico sarin, pero que probablemente había sido llevado a cabo por los rebeldes

Ambas partes niegan haber usado armas químicas. (el énfasis es mío)

Un equipo de expertos de Naciones Unidas que visitaron Siria el mes pasado para investigar acusaciones de armas químicas, habían pensado originalmente visitar Khan al-Assal pero terminaron enfocando su atención en un ataque de gas más grande que mató a centenares de civiles en suburbios de Damasco el 21 de Agosto

Es muy fácil dejarse llevar por prejuicios políticos (frecuentemente heredados, adoptados, incomprendidos e infundados)  sin analizar la fuente de la información que difundimos o reenviamos, olvidándonos que las muertes de los inocentes nos obliga a imponer nuestro sentido ético-moral sobre nuestras predilecciones ideológicas.

"Interviewer: Mr President, the most pressing question today is the current situation in Syria.  What parts of the country remain under the rebels’ control?

Interviewer:  Mr. President, this interview will be translated into several international languages, and shall be read by world leaders, some who may currently be working against you.  What would you like to say to them?

President Assad: Today there are many Western politicians, but very few statesmen.  Some of these politicians do not read history or even learn from it, whilst others do not even remember recent events.  Have these politicians learned any lessons from the past 50 years at least?  Have they not realised that since the Vietnam War, all the wars their predecessors have waged have failed?  Have they not learned that they have gained nothing from these wars but the destruction of the countries they fought, which has had a destabilising effect on the Middle East and other parts of the world?  Have they not comprehended that all of these wars have not made people in the region appreciate them or believe in their policies?

From another perspective, these politicians should know that terrorism is not a winning card you play when it suits you and keep it in your pocket when it doesn't.  Terrorism is like a scorpion; it can unexpectedly sting you at any time.  Therefore, you cannot support terrorism in Syria whilst fighting it in Mali; you cannot support terrorism in Chechnya and fight it in Afghanistan.

To be very precise, I am referring to the West and not all world leaders, if these western leaders are looking to achieve their interests, they need to listen to their own constituents and to the people in this region rather than seeking to install ‘puppet’ leaders, in the hope that they would be able to deliver their objectives.  In doing so, western policy may become more realistic in the region.

Our message to the world is straightforward: Syria will never become a Western ‘puppet’ state.  We are an independent country; we will fight terrorism and we will freely build relationships with countries in a way that best serves the interests of the Syrian people."

NOTA: Mi padre nació en Latakia, Siria, y los últimos eventos en su país de origen me duelen como al que mas. Venga de donde venga, la crueldad infligida en esas inocentes criaturas víctimas de la matanza por gas merece condenación y la identificación de los responsables (los verdaderos responsables) más que la exculpación sumaria de los sospechosos solamente por odio al enemigo.
